My Instagram: @swaggerandgreysI haven’t been in the mood for reading lately but I’ve decided to pick up “The Detective and the Spy” by Angela Misri (Canadian) about Portia Adams a consulting detective for Scotland Yard. I’m looking forward to a lighter, more fun read this time around, so a Sherlock Holmes still crime solving female detective has got me intrigued!Thought I was having memory loss issues but realized that perimenopause got me forgetting words, forgetting them in sentences and how to spell them. I would just freeze mid-sentence trying to recall a word that should be simple to remember and coming up empty👀. I gotta say I don’t like this part of the ageing process one bit😩Restyling these white wide-leg trouser with denim (warning: as much as I love this combination, the only problem to watch for is colour transfer of blue denim - in my case, I wore my denim jacket with a white leather handbag and ruined the bag (outfit was cute but it wasn’t worth it!)Closer look at my new @mapiful custom map that is a nod to 🇯🇲. Check out my previous post (Reel) for my nostalgic experience and what this means to me.

By bringing sexy back, I don’t necessarily mean my body but an age positive attitude, a self-confidence, swagger, grit and spirit that says, “I’m comfortable in the skin I’m in at this particular point in my life”, because trust me, nothing prepared me for the way I’m changing with age.
