discovery: this recent purchase from joe fresh. a steal for just $29 this dress will certainly get a ‘work’out. plus it has pockets! – i’ve got a thing for dresses with pockets *grin*

2012: dress $29 – joe fresh, blazer (under $30) – forever 21, shoes – 9west

tip: i love shopping at joe fresh. you can find great pieces for the cube at a fantastic price point. but if you’re like me, you might worry that every woman in your office building will be workin’ the same dress as you because of it.

but don’t sweat it. the trick is really in how you choose to wear it. don’t play it too safe or predictable. make the look your own, like i did here pairing this dress with a bright red blazer. or try a high-low pairing (if you have designer pieces in your closet).

looking great for the office – for less – has never been easier or more fun!

discovery: pairing my new hilfiger dress with a bright red blazer and keeping the shoes neutral for a nautical inspired look for the cube.

2012: dress – tommy hilfiger, shoes – 9west, blazer – forever 21/2010: white plastic bangles – h&m

tip: navy + white + red = a timeless colour combination. whether in navy and white stripes or in polkadots by adding a pop of red in a jacket/cardigan or a shoe you’re bound to look stylish in the cube this summer.

‘work’ it: animal print + orange zara blouse

rediscovery: this animal print skirt i bought last summer and wore in the fall with tights and black turtle neck. it’s light, not too bold of a print for the cube and will take me from day to evening and right back into the fall.

luv the pleating in the front and the fun button detail at the back of this blouse.

2012: shoes – 9west/ 2011: skirt (bought this for about $30 i think from seneca college’s boutique), blouse – zara

tip: if you’re intimidated by the typical leopard print skirt try one in a black and white like this one, throw on a blazer and you’re office ready!
