2012: h&m dress + nine west patent pumps/2010: belt – mexx/2002: handbag – marks & spencer

style note: this dress isn’t my typical style. i’m more comfortable in…well, pants, or an a-line dress. but i vowed to step outside my style comfort zone a bit more this year and i was glad i did.

i discovered a new silhouette that surprisingly was very comfortable for me to wear with heels or flats. 

tip: adding a wide belt to this dress is a great way to really define the waist. (nb:this dress originally came with a slim brown belt that i didn’t care for so i swapped it out).
